As the old saying goes it’s “so far so good”, although he still has to go for regular checks, they are all showing good results, keeping everything crossed as we wait for the results, is always the way and will continue I’m sure as the threat never really goes away. One of the unfortunate effects of all the treatments that Harry undertook, is he may be vulnerable to other cancers the key here is “MAY BE” no one can say for sure. So as a family we have to put that thought at the far recesses of our minds and move on.
As for how Harry deals with it, to him it doesn’t exist, he has made his mind up to become a chef as his chosen career, to this end he has enrolled to a London based college (Westminster) that has produced many many top chefs, where many 16 year olds are gaming online, Harry is checking out recipes/ kitchen equipment etc, as we know he has always been very strong minded.
It is with utter joy that I can be writing this update, joy in Harry getting from where he was then to where he is now & humble gratitude to all of the family, friends and the wonderful unknown’s who together made this possible, you changed my life and without doubt YOU saved Harry’s
